In this class we had different duties such as observant of the class session or just observant of the students or the teacher.Even though we had never been exposed to Croatian language before students easily learnt what the teacher had thought.
The students who had different duties came together and shared what they observed.
I think this class session was useful for us to check whether we could observe the class session or whether we could see what were the pros and cons of the lesson. I realized that as we had been looking at the different angle we were catching different ideas and our ideas were changing according to our dominance of our work.
Great - that was the purpose....to see how we all notice different parts of a lesson bc we all focus (naturally) on different things. We all wear colored lenses that affect our vision. This is important to remember as we start to reflect on the hows / whys of teaching and learning.
